Located around Arusha, just a half-an-hour drive from the Kilimanjaro International Airport, close to the town of USA River, as well as a Lodge the M.M. is a sanctuary for orphaned or injured animals, set up in 1959 by Dr. Andreas Von Nagy, with the aim to provide refuge and healing to them before returning to the wild.
